2026 - 2027 Tryout Registration Now Open!

Porter Ridge Soccer Announces 2026–2027 Tryouts and Assessment Calendar

Porter Ridge Soccer has officially released the 2026–2027 Tryout and Assessment Calendar, giving young athletes and their families the opportunity to prepare for the upcoming competitive season. These tryouts are designed to evaluate players’ skills, teamwork, and potential while helping coaches place athletes in the best environment for their development.


All tryouts and assessments will take place at Chestnut Square Park, and players should plan to attend both scheduled dates for their age group to ensure a complete evaluation.

Age Groups, Birthdates, and Tryout Schedule

Below is the breakdown of tryout dates based on age group and birth year eligibility.


U9 – U10 (Academy)

  • Birthdates: August 1, 2016 – July 31, 2018
  • Tryout Dates: April 28 & April 29
  • Time: 6:30 PM – 7:45 PM

This academy-level group focuses on building strong technical skills, confidence with the ball, and a love for the game while introducing players to a more structured competitive environment.


U11 – U12

  • Birthdates: August 1, 2014 – July 31, 2016
  • Tryout Dates: May 5 & May 6
  • Time: 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM

Players in this age group begin refining their tactical awareness and teamwork while continuing to develop key fundamentals of soccer.


U13 – U14

  • Birthdates: August 1, 2012 – July 31, 2014
  • Tryout Dates: May 19 & May 20
  • Time: 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM

At this stage, players are evaluated on their technical ability, decision-making, and overall understanding of the game.


U15+

  • Birthdates: August 1, 2008 – July 31, 2012
  • Tryout Dates: May 19 & May 20
  • Time: 7:15 PM – 8:30 PM

These sessions focus on advanced skills, game intelligence, and readiness for high-level competition.
