Simply incredible! The Morehead-Cain Scholarship is a fully funded, four-year merit scholarship to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It covers all expenses and includes a distinctive summer enrichment program focused on leadership, public service, and professional development. Recipients are selected based on character, scholarship, leadership, and physical vigor. 🚨 2026–27 AGE GROUP FORMATION UPDATE 🚨 U.S. Youth Soccer, US Club Soccer, and American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) have jointly announced an important update to age group formation beginning with the 2026–27 seasonal year. This change moves away from the current calendar-year model (January 1 – December 31) and returns to a seasonal-year structure (August 1 – July 31) for determining age groups. To remain eligible for participation in competitions under these organizations, as well as all North Carolina State run leagues and competitions, Porter Ridge Soccer must comply with the new guidelines. To help guide everyone through this transition, we have created a document outlining the what, why, and when behind these changes, along with answers to the most frequently asked questions. We understand that updates like this may bring questions or concerns. Please know our staff is actively working through the details to ensure a smooth process that best supports our players and families. Almost a year ago, one of our U18 Girls, Allison Schie tore her ACL during a High School game with @piedmonthsnc For many players, this could have been their last game - but not for Alli, In the past year - she has not only worked tirelessly through endless rounds of PT - but has also poured her love of the game into becoming a coach and raising and caring for an incredible group of U12 Club Girls!
